FOCUS AT CHELSEA HARBOUR 2012

A Nobilis chair in waiting

So then it was time for a little smooch round the luscious window displays with eyes wide open and my iPhone to hand.
I had a list of clients' needs and wants and was on the lookout for certain things but, setting these aside, my favourites of the morning were as follows:

There are two new collections shown here:-
Crayford Collection
The Crayford Collection is named after a small market town in Kent with connection to the textile printing industry in the 1730s. GP&J Baker acquired the textile site in 1893 and sourced designs from Voysey amongst other notable Art and Crafts designers.
The rich and detailed designs of this time are evident in this new collection by GP&J.
Homes & Gardens II

Homes & Gardens II is chock full of dazzling brights, drawing inspiration from our fascination with the Spice Route and exotic fortunes made by travellers dating back centuries. This is mixed in with vibrancy from Miami Jazz roots and also a sprinkling of Scandinavian style, making this an eclectic mix not for the faint hearted.

Colefax and Fowler

What an incredibly beautiful way to display fabrics:
A hall of fame down which to
walk and admire the new
Colefax and Jane Churchill collections ....
Spot the difference between Colefax & Churchill collections above

Colefax sported intricately embroidered silks combined with a slightly folky edge with their embroidered linens; all in the delicate and sophisticated Colefax colour palate we know and love
Jane Churchill popped brighter candy colours with fun embroideries and splashes of vintage-led flowers and geometrics - unadulterated fun

I love this mix of orange and green
(with a grey thrown in to calm the colours down)
reflected forward to the plants and windowsill
 - clever colour play

Cleverly harmonised rich colours
are evident in this stunning
window display
And yet more quality on show at Zoffany. The rich colours synonymous with this brand were in evidence, just in time to add warmth to our winter

So many fabrics here that I absolutely adored; perfectly utilising texture and colour in a heavenly symbiosis

HARLEQUIN - SCION

Fun lighting was used, making the most of bright colours on show,
to lure viewers in to look at more

MORE OF HARLEQUIN ANON......

PICK OF THE REST:
